Overview
Returning to Venice on 22 October, the 37th edition of the Venicemarathon, a race still holding fascination for both athletes and spectators.
The Venicemarathon is part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Ranking, recognised worldwide and certified Bronze Label by the IAAF, and Gold Label by the FIDAL.
It is run on a unique course: start in front of Villa Pisani, Riviera del Brenta, and Venice, through the Ponte di Barche, Piazza San Marco, the Campanile and the Doge's Palace.
The 2022 edition had 32,000 people running the 42K-21K-10K and five stages of the Alì Family Run.
The Alì Family Runs are non-competitive races, taking place along several stages during the weeks preceding the international Venicemarathon race on a course of about 4 km. An event bringing together children, families and all those who want to spend a day of health and fun, involving participants in the marathon atmosphere.
The Alì Family Run has always been a social event aimed at raising funds to finance school sports projects and solidarity projects: a large part of the proceeds from the registrations will go to participating schools and charity.

The Venicemarathon is held every year on the fourth Sunday in October.
The next dates will be: Sunday, 27 October 2024, and Sunday, 26 October 2025.
