Fourth thematic exhibition dedicated to the master.
The Museo Nazionale Collezione Salce in Treviso continues its tribute to Renato Casaro and, at the San Gaetano site, organises the fourth thematic monographic exhibition dedicated to the Maestro. After the exhibitions dedicated to comedy, the western, fantasy and science fiction, the new exhibition addresses one of the most visionary genres that have marked his work: horror. The exhibition is the first to be staged after his death and has been curated with the valuable contribution of the artist's wife.
From 16 May to 4 November 2026, original sketches, preparatory drawings and study materials are on display, documenting Casaro's creative process and highlighting his famous collaborations with the masters of horror, starting with the works created for Dario Argento. The works show how he manages to synthesise suspense and terror in a single image, making the films that have marked the history of the genre iconic.
The exhibition can be visited from Friday to Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm. There is a charge for admission.
