Founded in 2002 in Polignano a Mare, Puglia, on the initiative of the Artes Cultural Association, Il Libro Possibile aims to bring culture to the streets, thereby making it accessible to all.
Following a deeply Mediterranean tradition centred on the coexistence and integration of different cultures, the Festival brings together the most diverse expressions of knowledge and society – Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winners, entrepreneurs, scientists, judges, journalists, institutional representatives, sportspeople, actors, artists and television personalities – offering multiple perspectives on reality.
Particular attention is paid to the selection of themes and content in order to identify and interpret new cultural and social phenomena, thereby encouraging reflection, dialogue and the active participation of individuals in the life of the community, both nationally and internationally.
From the afternoon until late in the evening, there are packed days of culture and tourism featuring renowned figures from the national and international cultural scene.
Once again this year, this unique event will welcome a large and diverse audience: 8 days featuring a series of events against the stunning backdrop of two beautiful towns on the Apulian coast: Polignano a Mare and Vieste.
This year’s Festival will be held in Polignano a Mare from 9 to 12 July 2025 and in Vieste from 22 to 26 July 2025.
