FEATURES

These routes represent the majority of hiking trails and so include a broad variety of natural settings. They run along mule tracks, trails and sometimes paths; on terrain with various geomorphological and vegetational contexts (e.g., pasture, undergrowth, scree, scree slopes). They are generally signposted and may have steep sections. You may encounter easy, unexposed rocky sections that require the use of hands for balance. Any exposed points are generally protected. The paths may cross flat or gently-sloping areas on residual snow.

Suitable equipment is required, particularly with regard to footwear.

The 390 hiking route starts from Pian Fontana, Val Cimoliana (altitude 919 m), in the municipality of Pieve di Cadore and ends at Casera Laghet de Sora (altitude 1871 m), in the municipality of Cimolais. According to the CAI standard, it is classified as Hiking and covers a total distance of 4.7 kilometres. The starting point's altitude is 1859 metres and the maximum altitude reached is 1863 metres, while the lowest altitude is 941 metres. The hiking route is suitable for those who want to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. It is recommended to be well equipped and prepared for the different weather conditions and possible obstacles that may arise along the route.
