From 24 October 2025 to 31 May 2026, the Toscanini Orchestra celebrates its fiftieth anniversary season.
"Nothing moves the human spirit like attending a live concert performed by outstanding musicians. With this renewed awareness, combined with a sense of pride and achievement, the Toscanini Foundation presents the 2025–2026 concert programme: the rich and varied fiftieth-anniversary season of the Toscanini Orchestra (founded as the Emilia-Romagna Symphony Orchestra 'Arturo Toscanini' – OSER), now known as the Filarmonica Toscanini.
The programme features 18 symphonic concerts, alongside three additional series comprising a total of 17 performances, starring the musicians of the Filarmonica.
The concerts will feature numerous distinguished conductors and soloists, including the returning appearances of Robert Treviño, Wayne Marshall, Andrej Boreyko, Marcus Bosch, Roberto Abbado, Christoph Eschenbach, Yves Abel and Víctor Pablo Pérez, as well as renowned violinists Midori and Charlie Siem.
In the new season, Mihaela Costea, Concertmaster of the Filarmonica Toscanini, will also appear as a soloist. Among the orchestra's long-standing collaborations, the Choir of the Teatro Regio di Parma, conducted by Martino Faggiani, returns for Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 (31 December and 1 January) and Mahler's Symphony No. 2 (5 February).
