Run in the heart of the Dolomites and push yourself to the limit
In the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, in Cortina d’Ampezzo, one of the world’s most iconic trail running events comes to life: the Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB ®. Since 2007, this international event has attracted thousands of runners eager to enjoy a unique experience combining nature and performance.
The 2026 edition will take place from 24 to 28 June, with a full programme of races spread over several days.
There are five distances available – 10K, 20K, 50K, 80K and 120K – designed for all fitness levels. The flagship route, the 120K, will start on Friday, 26 June: 120 km with a 5,800-metre elevation gain, following a technically demanding and spectacular route through alpine trails and high-altitude landscapes.
The route passes through some of the most iconic locations in the Dolomites, including the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, offering breathtaking scenery and a uniquely immersive experience. Starting and finishing in Cortina makes the event even more evocative, with the added thrill of running at night.
As part of the UTMB World Series circuit, the race allows participants to earn Running Stones, which are essential for qualifying for the world finals.
The Lavaredo Ultra Trail is not just a race: it is an epic journey of endurance, nature and passion. An experience that tests both body and mind, turning every finishing line into an unforgettable achievement.
