Overview
Ortigia Film Festival, the international festival of the city of Syracuse, will be held from 15 to 22 July. The Festival has three competitive sections: the Italian Feature Film Competition, the Documentary Competition and the International Short Film Competition.
There are also three non-competitive sections: Cinema Women, which focuses on the female perspective in cinema, Cinema & The Art of Words and The Voice of the Sea section, in collaboration with the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area.
The Festival Management will nominate a jury composed of experts from the film industry for the awards for Best Film, Best Performer and the SIAE Award for Best Screenplay. In addition to these, there is also the audience award.
