Overview
The Lake Maggiore Marathon, is scheduled to take place among the beautiful lakeside landscapes of Arona, Stresa and Verbania on the 9th of November. One of the most important lightweight athletics events in Italy, it is ready to welcome both professional and amateur athletes from all over the world, while also undoubtedly attracting many tourists.
42 km of pure emotion from Arona to Pallanza, running overlooking Lake Maggiore, crossing the wonderful Borromean Gulf. The sporting event also offers distances for every runner: Half Marathon, 33 KM and 10 KM.
From day one, the LMM Village, located on the Arona lakefront, will become a tourist and commercial attraction offering a great opportunity to promote businesses and products, both to an Italian and international market. Trade exhibitors, music and assistance for runners will fill the Village for the duration of the event.
