Overview
On Sunday, October 26, 2025, Sutrio will host a celebration dedicated to traditional flours and mountain cheeses, two authentic products from the Friuli Venezia Giulia mountains. A journey through the village streets will give you the chance to taste typical dishes made with local cereals, paired with craft beers from the region. For some, it will be a return to the past, while for others, it will be a new discovery.
This year, there will be three tastings: Farine di Flôr, featuring traditional recipes such as Brût Brusât and Blecs with buckwheat flour; Formandi nell'Ort di Sior Matie, showcasing mountain cheeses from the 2024 season; and the traditional meste. The participating breweries include BONDAI, Birra di Naon, Foràn, Casamatta, and Di Mont.
Also planned are music in the courtyards, a children's play area, and a food market.
