From 15 to 24 September 2023, the Cous Cous Fest returns to the picturesque San Vito lo Capo. The event aims to celebrate a basic ingredient, rooted in the Mediterranean, through an international competition between chefs that brings different people, histories, traditions, cultures and religions together, all in the name of cous cous.
Over the years, the event has transformed the grain of cous cous into a symbol of peace and bond between people as well as a cultural and tourism marketing tool for an area of unparalleled beauty.
The event’s programme is very broad comprising not only food and wine but also cultural and musical events, such as concerts, talks and musical performances on stage and at the beach, all completely free.
This is how, grain by grain, the Cous Cous Fest has become a magnet for thousands of people, a place with a magical atmosphere that captures, bewitches and steals the hearts of those who visit.
