From 18 to 27 September 2026, the Cous Cous Fest returns to San Vito Lo Capo, Sicily, for its 29th edition. The international festival celebrating cultural integration brings together gastronomy, music, entertainment and different cultures through one of the Mediterranean's most iconic dishes: cous cous.
The Cous Cous Fest 2026 offers a rich programme of events, including tastings, cooking shows, talks, culinary competitions and free concerts. Throughout the festival, visitors will be able to taste more than 20 cous cous recipes from different culinary traditions at the Cous Cous Houses, open every day from 12 noon to midnight.
A major highlight will be the Bia Cous Cous World Championship, the international competition bringing chefs and culinary cultures from different countries to San Vito Lo Capo. The programme will also include the Italian Cous Cous Championship, the Next Generation Student Contest, the Expo Village, as well as numerous live music events and shows.
The festival was created to promote cultural integration, dialogue and mutual respect, turning cous cous into a symbol of encounter and exchange between peoples. This unique concept makes the Cous Cous Fest one of the most interesting events of the Sicilian summer for anyone who loves food, culture, music and Mediterranean traditions.
