Euganean tulips

Overview

Little Holland a stone’s throw from Padua

More than 50,000 tulips from 16 varieties in 13 rows: this is the Euganean Tulip Field, also known as Little Holland. The field is located in Luvigliano di Torreglia, amidst the beautiful scenery of the Parco Regionale dei Colli Euganei.

You can visit from the end of March to mid-April, when the tulips are in bloom, creating a rainbow that brings joy to everyone who sees it. To extend the flowering period, the varieties include early, medium and late flowering tulips, meaning the multicoloured petals bloom for up to four weeks.

It’s possible to walk between the rows, take a selfie with your favourite tulips and even pick them to create your own bouquet according to the U-Pick technique: everyone picks the flowers they want. Two tulips are included with the admission ticket. You can collect more tulips using the baskets they give you at the entrance and pay for these on your way out.

It’s the perfect place to spend a Sunday with family or friends walking in a natural setting of rare beauty just a stone’s throw from Padua
