Overview
From 25 October 2025 to 22 February 2026, the Civic Museums of Bassano del Grappa are pleased to present to the public Giovanni Segantini, the great exhibition curated by Niccolò D’Agati, which celebrates the life and work of Giovanni Segantini (1858-1899), one of the greatest exponents of Italian Divisionism and among the most sensitive observers of the natural world.
Promoted and organized by the Municipality and the Civic Museums of Bassano del Grappa, with the patronage of the Veneto Region, with the support of the Segantini Museum of St. Moritz and the Galleria Civica G. Segantini of Arco and in collaboration with the Lombardy Region and Dario Cimorelli Editore, the exhibition will reconstruct the figure of Giovanni Segantini following the fundamental stages of the painter's parable in chronological order.
The exhibition is part of the official program of the Cultural Olympics of Milan Cortina 2026, an initiative that accompanies the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games with a rich calendar of cultural events spread throughout the country.
