Overview
In the Maremma Natural Park you will find a tide of uncontaminated landscapes, one more fascinating than the other, but for a trekking itinerary of all respect, the town of Pinottolai is the right starting point. The area is that of the area of Alberese, a hamlet of Grosseto a stone's throw from the sea, and offers endless pine forests and unique views.
The trails that start from Pinottolai are perfect for Forest Bathing, a Japanese practice based on walks in the woods, repeated for a series of consecutive days: a real immersion in the forest, which brings psycho-physical benefits, from reducing stress to improving blood pressure and the immune system.
Breathe in the volatile substances emitted by the trees of the Maremma Park, starting from Casa dei Pinottolai, along the so-called Strada del Mare. Follow the path that enters the spectacular pine forest and leads you, with a walk of about a kilometer and a half, to the Turtle Bridge: crossing it, you can admire large caves in the rock face.
