The solo exhibition of Marco Tamburro, one of the most recognisable protagonists of contemporary Italian painting
On the occasion of the Milan–Cortina 2026 Olympics and Paralympics, the Fabbrica Eos Gallery and the Luigi Proietti Gallery, with the co-production of PPosh Milano, present EYES TO THE SKY, the solo exhibition of Marco Tamburro.
Open from 5 February to 7 March 2026 in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the exhibition presents a series of unpublished works that investigate the dialogue between Art and Sport, universal languages linked to energy, movement and overcoming limits.
Through powerful and instinctive painting, Tamburro draws inspiration from Italian cities and winter Olympic sports, translating speed, concentration and athletic gesture into images of great visual impact.
The project is part of the path started with the monumental mural Apri alla Vita, a tribute to the 2026 Winter Olympics and part of the official programme of the Cultural Olympiad.
EYES TO THE SKY invites you to look up, a symbolic gesture of victory, resilience and change of perspective. Art and sport, although different in their relationship with time, share fundamental values such as discipline, dedication, inclusion and universal expression.
On the occasion of the exhibition, a catalogue was produced with a message from President Giovanni Malagò and contributions from Alberto Russo and Gianluigi Paragone.
