Overview
From November 7 to 10, 2025, Palermo will host Sherbeth, the International Festival of Artisan Gelato, which has been celebrating the quality and creativity of artisanal ice cream from around the world since 2007.
Master gelato makers from numerous countries gather in the Sicilian capital to present innovative flavors, original combinations, and creations made with top-quality ingredients, using the most refined techniques in the craft.
During the four days of celebration, Palermo’s historic center transforms into an open-air ice cream village, animated by stands, live workshops, tastings, show cooking, themed conferences, concerts, and performances for both adults and children.
At the heart of the festival is the international competition for the prestigious Francesco Procopio Cutò Award, named after the Sicilian inventor of modern gelato. Contestants will compete in front of a professional jury and an enthusiastic public, offering a sensory journey through tradition, innovation, and cultural fusion.
