Maratona Reale Torino

Overview

The Royal Marathon is the new 42.195-kilometre stage race that journeys through history, immersed in the scenery of the UNESCO-recognised Residences of the Royal House of Savoy, for a unique experience among sport, art and nature. You can choose between four shorter or two longer stages:

STAGE 1 - 16th April 2023

ROYAL MUSEUMS - PALAZZO MADAMA - STUPINIGI

This race welcomes ushers spring into Piedmont, with 10 kilometres inside the Sabauda Gallery, linking the Royal Museums to the Stupinigi hunting lodge, starting from Piazza Castello.

STAGE 2 – 18th June 2023

MONCALIERI CASTLE

Ten kilometres, starting and finishing at the splendid Moncalieri Castle, the headquarters of the 1st Carabinieri Regiment. The runners will face the most demanding stage of the circuit, through the Vallere Park and the streets of the historic centre.

STAGE 3 – 17th September 2023

THE ROYAL CASTLE OF RACCONIGI

From the Royal Castle, this 12.195-kilometre-stage—the longest in the marathon—starts and finishes in the town of Racconigi. You can admire the picturesque Migliabruna Vecchia and Nuova farmhouses and the Centro Cicogne nature reserve.

STAGE 4 – 15th October 2023

THE PALACE OF VENARIA

The final stage is the famous “KING’S RUN”, which is among the most important sports events in the region, surrounded by beauty and nature. Alongside the half marathon and 10-kilometre run, there is a 4-kilometre run for the whole family and a more challenging 30-kilometre run for experienced runners.
