The Genoa International Boat Show returns from 21 to 26 September with its 63rd edition.
Organised by Confindustria Nautica, it will welcome industry operators and sea enthusiasts to the Ligurian capital. Registration officially opened on 13 February.
The Genoa International Boat Show proposes the tried-and-tested multi-specialist format, with renewed services dedicated to and developed for the five market segments representing it, covering over 200,000 square metres of exhibition space: Yacht and Superyacht, Sailing World, Boating Discovery, Tech Trade and Living the Sea.
The event has 62 editions to its credit constituting a unique heritage of a reality that combines history, expertise, know-how, design, technology, innovation, development and business. The Boat Show has been confirmed as a model of an innovative, effective and concrete event, which has proved its strength and resilience, a symbol of the country and ‘Made in Italy’ throughout the world.
Again this year, a packed agenda of events and workshops will be held in the Blue Pavilion, in the Forum and Innovation Rooms and in the picturesque Terrace setting, as well as the schedule of side events. The traditional FORUM programme of institutional conferences, organised by Confindustria Nautica, will offer technical seminars and conferences on industry topics and the latest technological innovations.
The "Design Innovation Award", promoted by Confindustria Nautica and I Saloni Nautici (the Italian Boating Industry Association), is back. Now in its fourth edition, the Award is dedicated to new products exhibited at the Genoa International Boat Show and promotes excellence in the pleasure boating industry that stands out each year for research, innovation, formal and technical quality, and sustainability. The award ceremony for the winners of the nine competition categories, which are voted by an international jury composed of design experts, representatives from the academic and manufacturing worlds, and specialised industry journalists, will take place during the 63rd Boat Show.
