Rock in Roma 2023

Overview

From June to August 2023, Rock in Roma is back with its 13th edition.

This festival is among the most important in Europe and is always aiming to expand the boundaries of music.

It boasts a multi-genre line-up, featuring a variety of the most successful Italian and international artists.

The event is a popular fixture for rock lovers and fans of good music, with more than 2 months of events planned.

This is a huge achievement for the two founders Sergio Giuliani and Max Bucci who, since the first editions of the Festival, envisioned an “international” Rome.

Since the first event, their commitment has made live music the star of summer in Rome. The Eternal City proves itself to be one of the most rocking cities in the world: from June to August, famous names from the international and Italian music scene will perform live at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle, the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, the Roman Theatre of Ostia Antica and Circus Maximus.

The Festival is followed by an ever-increasing number of foreign tourists who travel to Italy to attend the big live performances, meaning it welcomes a diverse audience in terms of target audience and geographical origin.

Around 2,400,000 people (270,000 attended the concert-events of the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, David Gilmour, Roger Waters and Maneskin at the Circus Maximus) attended the festival in the previous 12 editions, in a growing trend that has seen an exponential increase in both Italian and international audiences.

For the 2023 edition, the artists who will perform include: Lazza, 3th July (Sanremo discovery) Coez, 9th July, Maluma, 12th July, Salmo, 13th July, Sfera Ebbasta + Shiva, 29th July.
