The cities and municipalities involved in Lombardy are: Milan, once again a central point within the program of La Milanesiana, with over 25 events scheduled in different places of the city, but also Pavia, Sondrio, Bergamo, Treviglio, Seregno, Bormio and Livigno.
In Emilia-Romagna the Festival is held in Busseto, Bertinoro, Bagnacavallo, Longiano, Gatteo a Mare, San Mauro Pascoli and Cervia thanks to the collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region and APT Emilia-Romagna Region.

An edition that promises to be extraordinary and that confirms La Milanesiana as the largest European traveling festival that promotes dialogue between the arts, intertwining Literature, Music, Cinema, Science, Art, Philosophy, Theater, Law, Economics, Sport and, for the first year, Comics, creating reflections and insights.
The theme of this 24th edition is RETURNS , inspired by the Nigerian writer, Ben Okri. A world-theme to interpret the current news: the relationship with nature, the relationship with artificial intelligence and that between parents and children.
The Rose painted by Franco Battiato, which since the first edition has been the symbol of La Milanesiana, has been reworked again this year by Franco Achilli who in honor of the new theme has depicted it wrapped in a green ouroboros, an ideal union between the theme of Nature and that of Return.
The official opening scheduled for May 23 includes the extraordinary meeting with the Nobel Prize winner Wole Soyinka, in dialogue with Stefano Salis, and the tribute concert by Ramin Bahrami to Giuseppe Verdi for the 210th anniversary of his birth, one of the many important anniversaries selected this year by La Milanesiana.
As in all editions, art plays an important role within the Festival that this year hosts 8 exhibitions throughout Italy, from 13 June to 30 October.
