Trieste Spring Run 2023

Overview

The Trieste Marathon is back again this year, preparing to welcome more than 5,000 participants along a stunning 21-kilometre route that will start from the square in Aurisina and then pass through Sistiana, before heading along the coastal road and arriving on the Trieste seafront at Palazzo Berlam.

Also returning is the Family Run, dear to the hearts of the Trieste locals, with its traditional 7-kilometre route from Miramare Castle to Ponterosso. It is a joyous competition to share with family and friends that is open to people of all ages and promotes inclusion and sports education.

The Trieste Spring Young, meanwhile, is dedicated to young runners, who can get involved in an event designed specifically for them that will take place in the charming setting of Piazza Unità.

The Corsa degli Eroi (Heroes’ Run) is a fancy-dress run for adults and children that aims to celebrate the heroes of the pandemic. The race will take place in the late afternoon of Saturday 7th May along the streets of Trieste.
