It is the oldest Italian festival dedicated to the arts of the contemporary scene, and one of the most significant European events in the field of theatre and dance.
In Santarcangelo di Romagna, from 3 to 12 July, ten days of shows, concerts, installations, meetings and workshops await you in open-air spaces and other places around the city.
Created as "Teatro di Strada", the Festival is also a place for workshops, seminars and meetings, and innovative publishing projects.
Theatres, houses, gyms, tufa quarries, streets and squares will be the stage for many different shows and events. The aim is to recover the surprising effect of theatrical performance and to reconnect with the city's inhabitants, also with reference to its ancient but still living origins.
Dance, music, theatre, visual arts, performance, film and literature are becoming, in an increasingly evident way, the "musical score" of the transdisciplinary shows that characterise this year's festival, which, like a snapshot, defines the present time through the work of established and emerging Italian and international artists, whose gaze is marked by the coexistence of expressive signs.
