Overview
The old flour mill, as seen from the words painted on the façade, is located in one of the few historical buildings in Monteveglio to be found outside the walls of the town centre. The recent refurbishment has maintained the mood of the original building. Inside is a series of small rooms in which the natural stone, wood, family heirlooms and old mill equipment preserve the charm and memories of the location's history. The cuisine at Trattoria dai Mugnai is typical of Bologna's tradition, with a creative, imaginative twist. Quality is assured with the homemade pasta, locally sourced cheese, charcuterie, mushrooms, truffles and seasonal fruit and veg. The wine list is also predominantly local, with a strong focus on wines grown in the hills around Bologna.
