Pure adrenaline amid history and passion in Motor Valley

If you are looking for a sensational experience, Motor Valley is for you.

4 minutes

It is a true home of engines: 150 kilometres across Parma, Modena, Bologna and Rimini, 4 international circuits, 7 manufacturers, 11 luxury car museums, 19 collections. A dream location, where you can breathe in excellence and experience a rush of pure adrenalin. There are several ways to discover it in all its splendour; so let's take a look at them.

A tour at the wheel of a legendary car

driving tours

The first tour allows you to discover Motor Valley in an original way, to say the least.

On board legendary cars, icons of the "Dolce Vita", you will visit the birthplace of the fastest cars in the world.

You can opt for an Abarth 595 Cabriolet, made even more unique by the creativity of Lapo Elkann and the craftsmen of Garage Italia, or choose other historic Made in Italy vehicles such as the Alfa Romeo Duetto, the Fiat 124 Spider and countless other models.

Within a radius of just a few kilometres around Modena, Canossa Events, in collaboration with Modenatur and Motorsite, is ready to offer you a dream weekend.

Indeed, you will be able to visit the factories and museums of such creatures of luxury, power and elegance as Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Pagani, Dallara and Ducati; and, once your visit is over, stroll through the fascinating historic centre of Modena, starting with the splendid Piazza Grande, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its Romanesque cathedral and the Ghirlandina Tower. The icing on the cake, book your lunch (in advance) at the Osteria Francescana, a 3-Michelin-starred restaurant headed by Chef Massimo Bottura, who is more of an international legend than a chef.

On this exciting road trip, you will fully experience the world of motors, with unmissable stops to also savour the typical dishes of Emilian cuisine.

Unparalleled emotions on the track, on two wheels or four

four-wheel emotions

If you are looking for excitement, then you must not miss out on the driving experiences on the Motor Valley circuits.

You can choose to pass through the gates of the Modena autodrome and drive on the legendary track 6 different super sports cars from emblematic Made in Italy car manufacturers, such as the Lamborghini Hurácan and Gallardo, the Ferrari F88, F58, F430 and the KTM X-Bow. Alternatively, you can take part in the Maserati Driving Experience driving courses, held by professional instructors for a race to the finish line.

You could also decide to hop aboard a kart and challenge the stopwatch in a race with friends at the Varano circuit; or give vent to your racing skills at night, at the kart track lit up by the Santamonica Autodrome, at the Misanino circuit.

Two-wheel enthusiasts can also be amazed by the Ducati Dream Tour and travel for three days through curves and hairpin bends, riding the world's most beautiful and high-performance sports motorbikes, right in the hills where they were designed, discovering the Apennines of Emilia.

Motor Valley goes hand in hand with art and flavours

motors art and flavours

Another idea to fully enjoy the Motor Valley experience is a package that combines several experiences.

You can opt for the Deluxe weekend Motori e Sapori (motors and flavours) tour. The package includes overnight stays in 4- or 5-star hotels or in charming residences, entrance fees and guided visits to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello and Modena, the factory and the Horacio Pagani Museum, and a test drive of a total of 10 km with 5 laps of the track at the Modena Autodrome.

All of this surrounded by plenty of good food, with dinner at a gourmet restaurant and a private tour with tastings at a cheese factory producing Parmigiano Reggiano.

Not to be outdone is the Weekend in the Motor Valley amidst engines, art and flavours, which adds to the previous package: the option of an overnight stay at a holiday farm, admission to 2 museums of your choice (in addition to those already mentioned, also to the Lamborghini, Ducati and Checco Costa Museums), a visit with tasting at a choice of a dairy, a wine cellar and a vinegar cellar, where you can discover the secrets of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar, and finally a guided tour of the historic centre of  Modena or Bologna.

A journey through time in private collections

A journey through time in private collections

The last proposal is a sort of tour back in time, a journey through the private collections of Motor Valley, which are guarded like priceless treasures.

As you admire them at close quarters, you will learn about the history of personalities and engines, but also about the places where they are kept, true gems of the territory, where passion and research combine and merge.

From the Nigelli Collection - vintage motorbikes and horns, to the Mauro Pascoli Vespa Collection, passing through the National Motorcycle Museum or the Pollini Collection, full of model cars, advertising brochures, specialised magazines and vintage drawings, you will discover Italy and Italian customs from the 1950s to the present day, thanks to the engines that have marked its path.

At any time of the year, Motor Valley stands out as a successful tourist destination, ready to satisfy all your needs and help you discover new passions and entertainment.
