The immortal charm of the Holy Grail

In 1871, at Teatro Comunale di Bologna, for the first time in all its power Wagner's talent is on stage with the romantic opera “Lohengrin”, the first intense debut with audiences in the country of melodrama - the Italians - with the dramaturgy and music of the German genius. It could have been a disaster, but instead it was love at first sight. Reciprocal love. Deemed the last of Wagner's early works, “Lohengrin” is inspired by the epic German poem “Parzival” by Wolfram von Eschenbach. The story runs on two parallel tracks, myth and history, with mentions of the distant and "inaccessible" land of Montsalvat where the chalice of the Holy Grail is hidden.
