Foire d 'été and Atelier – traditional craftsmanship in Aosta

Overview

Those who love the winter fair of Sant'Orso cannot miss its summer equivalent, the Foire d 'été.
On Saturday, August 5, 2023, 400 artisans exhibit their works along the streets of the historic center of Aosta, telling of passions that emerge from the rough rock, of fingers that sink into the rough wood and of men who shape the fiery iron. Typical materials of the territory, among which there are also more artistic and less traditional artifacts, made of glass, ceramics, copper, gold and silver.

The pavilion of the Atelier, set up on the central square Chanoux, reserved for professional artisan companies, remains open for 4 days, from 3 to 6 August: on display furniture, fabrics, sculptures, various objects.

Admire traditional objects, such as the grolla or the cup of friendship but also many works of art, meet the artisans and discover their secrets and take advantage of the Foire d 'été and the Atelier to see the historic center of Aosta and its monuments.
