Overview
From July 11 to 20, Umbria Jazz returns—one of the most eagerly awaited events for jazz lovers and music enthusiasts alike. This festival hosts international stars, emerging young talents, rock guitar virtuosos, both traditional and cross-genre jazz artists, classic performers and innovators, high-quality pop music—offering sounds that move and entertain.
A large portion of the program is free (more than half of the approximately 250 scheduled events), bringing a festive, community-driven atmosphere to the city, especially in its historic center—an essential part of Umbria Jazz’s identity and spirit.
Wandering through Perugia’s historic center following the trail of concerts—from noon until after midnight—also means embarking on a fascinating journey through squares, museums, monuments, theaters, and narrow alleys that open onto breathtaking views.
