Castelnuovo Berardenga

Overview

The village of Castelnuovo is located in an area rich in history and beauty: arriving in the village, on one side you can admire the hills laden with the vineyards of the Sienese Chianti, and on the other you can find the lands 'of Berardenga', named after the noble Berardo, who lived in the 10th century, lands where the past still tells its story, large and small, in every detail that the eyes encounter. Under the severe gaze of the ancient castle, the remains of which remain today, the panorama stretches out like a map on which to go in search of treasures, perhaps by bicycle: the small, white streets, the parish churches, the tiny hamlets, the farms and farmhouses, everything here tells a story that, at certain times, seems to have stopped, to give us who observe it time to listen to its voice and let ourselves be carried away.
