Overview
From 17 to 21 May, Noto - emblematic city of the Sicilian Baroque - hosts the 45th edition of the Infiorata. This year's theme is ““Omaggio a Giacomo Puccini nel suo Centenario: il Maestro che vive nel tempo e nell'arte".
To create the colorful flowered carpet, 122 meters long and about 7 meters wide, the "infioratori" will go to collect in the countryside of the wonderful and vast territory, fennel, euphoria, valerian flowers, mugwort and myrtle, olive twigs and the many other natural materials that, together with carnations, gerberas and daisies will make up the wonderful drawings that make the Noto infiorata, one of the most beautiful in Italy.
