Overview
We are in the Umbertino district, in a small unassuming little eatery where the kitchens are run by talented chef Silvia Cardelli. The narrow lobby leads into a welcoming and well-kept dining room where we find Silvia's husband Andrea Ferrero, attentive and precise, who recommends and serves a series of dishes, almost all from the local area, recognisable and very well presented. Nibbles and sharing platters aren't the thing here... the portions are certainly generous! For starters try the scampi with sour cream, or perhaps the capon, which is among the best you'll find anywhere. One of the tastiest pasta dishes here is made from potatoes and seafood. Another recommended main course is a superb salt cod enhanced by a perfectly balanced cream of onions, olives and white chocolate.
