FORMULA 1 MADE IN ITALY AND EMILIA ROMAGNA GRAND PRIX

Overview

In 2023, the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix will be the top event hosted by Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari. Scheduled for the weekend of 19-21 May, the many fans will get to experience an unforgettable, adrenaline-fuelled spectacle on one of the most technical and challenging tracks in the entire championship.

To add to the excitement, it takes place in the home of Ferrari, with the grandstands coloured red to celebrate the Maranello drivers and cars. An event made extra special by the 70th anniversary of the racetrack, which will be celebrated with several events throughout the season.

The Formula 1 Qatar Airways Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix will be the sixth round of the championship, the first event in Europe. The programme consists of free practice on Friday, qualifying on Saturday, and the race on Sunday.

Two-time World Champion Max Verstappen, last year's winner of both the sprint and long race, is undoubtedly the driver to beat. Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Fernando Alonso and Lando Norris are ready to battle it out in a race that promises to be fiery.

The event is organised by ACI Sport Italia, in collaboration with the Government, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality of Imola, Con.Ami and Formula Imola.
