Overview
In Italy theWorldSBK circus is expected on the weekend of 2-4 June 2023, when the Emilia-Romagna Round will take place at the Misano World Circuit.
For 30 years the WorldSBK has been held at Misano, at the circuit named after Marco Simoncelli.
In 2022, the Riders' Land weekend amassed 65,825 spectators.
The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship is a competition reserved for "derivative motorbikes", i.e. motorbikes derived from commercial production.
Its popularity has developed thanks to the spectacular nature of the trials and the great enthusiasm that the public expresses in watching, in an atmosphere of great proximity to their favourites, races that ignite passion for motorcycling all over the world.
The weekend consists of three races: race 1 on Saturday, race 2 and the sprint race on Sunday.
Alongside WorldSBK, the sports programme includes two other world categories: the spectacular WorldSSP with the last world championship won by Switzerland's Dominique Aegerter and WorldSSP300, with defending champion the Spaniard Alvaro Diaz.
