The Bergonzi Festival comes to life in Busseto, a new initiative dedicated to the memory and artistic legacy of Carlo Bergonzi, one of the greatest tenors of the 20th century.
A project that arises not only from the desire to celebrate an extraordinary artist, but also from a deep spirit of sharing and commitment: the Festival is in fact the result of an important cultural volunteering operation, driven by the passion and dedication of those who believe in the value of music and memory.
The Festival is an annual event held around the anniversaries of the artist's birth and death, with the aim of honouring his legacy and promoting the local opera tradition, giving back to the community and the international public a living and vibrant artistic heritage.
The heart of the 2026 programme will be two important opera events hosted at the open-air theatre of the Villa Pallavicino Stables.
Date: Thursday 25 June 2026

Date: Monday 13 July 2026
Time: 9:00 pm
Before and after both performances, the audience will also be able to enjoy a complete experience in terms of food and wine: tastings of the typical cured meats of the Terre Verdiane, much loved by the Maestro, will be offered, accompanied by a selection of local wines, in a journey of flavours that dialogues with the great music and enhances local traditions.
