Gran Paradiso Film Festival

Overview

Right within the majestic mountain scenery of the Gran Paradiso National Park, established in 1922 to protect the ibex, has found its ideal location this International Festival dedicated to naturalistic cinema, one of the most important film events of the Aosta Valley

The Festival aims to contribute to the diffusion of naturalistic cinema, to deepen the knowledge of the natural heritage, to mature a sensitivity of full respect for the environment.

The event takes place from 24 to 29 July 2023 in Cogne and in August invarious locations in the valleys of Gran Paradiso and online.

The films of the International Competition and CortoNatura are flanked by the De Rerum Natura review, a cycle of meetings of wide cultural scope that see the comparison between personalities belonging to different fields of knowledge, from science to politics, from the international jet set to society. 

All events of the Gran Paradiso Film Festival are free.
