Europe's largest spa area
3000 years of history, more than 100 spas and countless mud and healing bath treatments. The Abano and Montegrotto Thermal Baths constitute the largest and oldest spa resort in Europe. Their waters are renowned for their wealth of beneficial minerals with numerous properties for the body. Wrapped in a soft bathrobe, move from the SPA to the solarium, from the pool to the garden, to enjoy all the services in total relaxation and privacy.
Immersed in the Euganean Hills Natural Park, in the heart of the Veneto region, Abano thermal baths are an ideal destination for those in search of a holiday dedicated to natural and artistic beauty, sport and food and wine. This small group of heights preserves very different natural environments, hiking trails and architectural treasures. Stroll through the historical centre of Abano and take a break in Piazza del Sole e della Pace in front of one of the largest sundials in Europe. Visit the Monastery of San Daniele, from whose terrace you can enjoy a splendid view of the Padana Plain. A stop at Montirone Park, with its Roman aqueduct, is not to be missed.
You can reach the thermal baths in Abano from Padua in ten minutes by train or twenty by car. Take the Padova Ovest exit if you are coming from the north or the Terme Euganee exit if you are coming from the south.
