Overview
Frantoi Aperti, the largest oil festival in Italy, returns to Umbria from 18 October to 16 November to celebrate the extra virgin olive oil harvest.
Five weekends will be dedicated to the show, during which numerous events will be held in the olive-growing hills of Umbria, covering nature, art and promotion of the olive-growing landscape.
During the event, you can visit the oil mills, stroll through the olive groves and discover the small medieval towns of Umbria.
The huge programme also includes concerts among the olive trees, music in the squares, exhibitions, bike rides and numerous tastings of new olive oil.
