Teatro Goldoni

Livorno's historic theater

Old and historic, Teatro Goldoni is located in the heart of Livorno and is among the few structures that survived the bombings during World War II. The arts and theater hub dedicated to opera, drama, concerts, dance, jazz musicals, cabaret and popular theater is today one of the city’s historical symbols. Restored several times, the theater has an elegant style characterized by a large crystal lantern that serves as the ceiling, a Great Hall that seats about 1,500, with stalls, 4 tiers of boxes, a gallery and the gods and a ridotto, the Goldonetta, seating about 200 spectators. Teatro Goldoni is a multipurpose space today devoted not only to performing arts, but also to related activities such as workshops, events, exhibitions, partnerships and theatrical entertainment for children.

There is a dedicated area for parking cars and motorcycles.
