Overview
A small, typical mediaeval village made up of narrow uphill alleys that form a labyrinthine urban fabric. Fulcrum of the village, the main square, with the Town Hall and the clock tower; the building is mentioned in the Statute of 1578, while the civic tower is not mentioned until 1613. The Alberti fortress is all that remains of the 13th-century castle.
