Its territory preserves the traces of the ancient populations that inhabited it, as its various archaeological sites tell us, and the historic centre welcomes you with its pleasant silence that allows you to rediscover yourself and the beauty of the rhythms of the past, amidst the small and cosy squares, narrow streets and balconies laden with flowers and colours. But Gavoi is above all a village of narratives: it is here, in fact, that the beautiful Literature Festival 'L'Isola delle Storie' takes place every year. During the days dedicated to the festival, in Gavoi people read, talk, listen to music and visit exhibitions, but above all meet, let themselves be contaminated by the many narratives that, like little fairies, speed through the streets of the village, from morning to dusk, making it even more beautiful.
