Rimini Covered Market

Overview

All the goodness of fish and fresh produce

The San Francesco Covered Market is located in the Rimini’s historic centre and is a true institution in the city. Passion for trading, customer-focus and top-quality raw materials come together in an area of 4,500 square metres.

The fish department is surely the most interesting. The fish market at the Covered Market is the largest and best stocked in all of Emilia-Romagna. Here you can find the fresh catch of the day from the Adriatic, as well as farmed and imported fish. The fruit and vegetable department, the bakery and the delicatessen, where you will have the opportunity to chat with the producers and have a few tastings, are of course not to be missed.

The best season to visit the Market is certainly summer. In fact, stalls and shopkeepers organise events and initiatives for tourists and locals, like the dinners at the Covered Market, offering all the best of fresh produce from Romagna from late June to August.
