Overview
This is a biodiversity heritage site. Broad meadows and wetlands have been redeveloped into the perfect conservation habitat and breeding ground for rare plant and animal species including the king heron, ash heron, kingfisher, woodpecker and peregrine falcon, who feed and shelter here during the winter. The Casa della Natura visitor centre offers guided tours and educational workshops.
