Overview
From 15 October to 22 March, the halls of Palazzo Sarcinelli in Conegliano will host "BANKSY and Street Art", an exhibition dedicated to one of the most disruptive phenomena in contemporary art. Curated by Daniel Buso and organised by ARTIKA in collaboration with Deodato Arte and the City of Conegliano, the exhibition presents a rich collection of works by Banksy, the elusive artist from Bristol who is now a global street art icon.
Alongside him are some of the most influential names in the movement, from Keith Haring to Shepard Fairey (Obey), testifying to the evolution of a language born on the street and now a protagonist in museums and the international market. The works convey the visual and political power of art, challenging established norms and prompting questions about authenticity, the art market, and power.
