Nestled among the rolling Umbrian hills of Orvieto, Altarocca Wine Resort is an adults-only hotel immersed in nature and surrounded by twenty hectares of vineyards and olive groves. You can stay in a suite at one of the four luxurious villas, connected by pathways, or in the flats, which offer increased privacy.
With a minimum of two nights’ stay, you can enjoy the “Benessere in rilievo” package, which includes a rich sweet and savoury breakfast, featuring organic and zero-food-mile products, dinner with a tasting menu at the Invinum Gourmet, and an “Exclusive Spa Rilievo” path in the new 480-square-metre Altarocca Wine Spa, where you can indulge in an afternoon of relaxation. Alongside water pools and wellness paths, you can also learn about the antioxidant benefits of organic red wine in wine therapy and the moisturising benefits of extra virgin olive oil in oil therapy, perfect for invigorating the body and mind.
An additional overnight stay includes a 75-minute regenerating olive tree body treatment, to be booked prior to arrival, and access to the three outdoor pools. The panoramic gym completes the services on offer. Tastings of Cantina Altarocca wines and Frantoio Altarocca extra virgin olive oil are organised daily, paired with platters of cured meats and cheeses.
