From Friday to Sunday, 26–28 May, Pistoia welcomes us with the 14th edition of Dialoghi, an in-depth cultural festival dedicated to the anthropology of the contemporary. A cultural and civic event, brought to life thanks to the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Pistoia e Pescia and the Municipality of Pistoia, and designed and directed by Giulia Cogoli, driven by a strong desire to involve the widest possible audience with meetings, lectures, performances and readings in Pistoia’s historical centre.
This year's theme is Humans and non-humans. We are nature, seeks to address the new “relational” vision of the living world: to recognise the interdependence of man with other beings, living and inorganic, that inhabit the Earth without, of course, denying the uniqueness of the human being.
“What is the responsibility of the human being towards the other inhabitants of the planet? And what are the battles of the near future that we will have to fight?” reflects Giulia Cogoli, director of the event, “What actions must we take to leave a habitable planet to those who will come after us? The feeling of responsibility of generations of adults towards the youth of today and tomorrow is at stake”.
An encounter that helps us understand and reflect, an unmissable experience in the magnificent setting of Pistoia's historic centre.
