The art of complaining in Calabria is one of the most widespread? Why not make a festival out of it!
That's what the guys from the Associazione DEDA, inventors of the highly original Festival of Complaining, in Soveria Mannelli (CZ), which this year takes place from 1 to 4 August.
The Festival of Complaining offers a home to those who feel the pressing need to lament what is wrong, becoming a social aggregator of instances to be brought to the attention of the general public: issues of common malaise, shared by Calabrian territorial realities, associations and communities, in an attempt to propose solutions and "network" projects.
The Festival of Complaining is also an opportunity to discover the town of Soveria Manelli and the splendid Reventino forest that surrounds it, visiting the historic centre and the "Garibaldian" places linked to the Expedition of the Thousand; the Mother Church of San Giovanni Battista and the Rubbettino Publishing House Corporate Museum.
