Poetto waterfront

Overview

A corner of summer 365 days a year

Located on the central-southern coast of beautiful Sardinia, in the Gulf of Angels, the Poetto waterfront stretches for about 9 kilometres, from the Sella del Diavolo to the Quartu coastline. It is Cagliari'smain beach, one of the busiest in the south of the island and promises tourists, locals and visitors alike, summer 365 days a year.

Soft golden sand, blue sea, relaxation, fun and lots of sport: these are the secret ingredients of the wonderful Poetto beach. The waterfront area offers a wide range of services including Bed & Breakfasts, bathing establishments, sailing schools, playgrounds and basketball courts.

Thanks to its cycle and pedestrian paths, it is the perfect destination for walking and cycling. But it is also an obligatory stop just to have a coffee or enjoy an apéritif at one of the many kiosks, all of course accompanied by a magnificent view and the smell of the sea.
