64th International Ceramic Exhibition – Ceramics in Love

Overview

Castellamonte boasts an ancient ceramic tradition, thanks to deposits of red clay in the surrounding hills. These natural resources have made it possible, in different historical periods, to produce important ceramic artifacts – especially simple tableware and the famous stoves, which have evolved from household heating tools into true design objects and examples of artistic craftsmanship for home decor.

The International Ceramic Exhibition is a major showcase for artisans and ceramic artists, who demonstrate their deep love for a material that is certainly not easy to handle – often subject to the unpredictability of the craft. Yet they continue to explore new expressive forms emerging in this vibrant artistic field.

All this will be visible through artworks from Italy and around the world, thanks also to the well-established international competition Ceramics in Love.

Throughout the event, the city will come alive with cultural, musical, and food & wine events. Guided night tours will also be organized, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the beauty of the artworks and the exhibition venues.
