Montedinove

A small pearl of the Sibillini Mountains, the village of Montedinove: walking through its historic centre, one is fascinated by the beauty of its architecture and the richness and delicacy of its artistic and architectural details. A hillside village, its origins are still linked to the land and its ancient gestures. The symbol of this bond with the territory in which it stands is the gastronomic product that most represents it, the Mela Rosa dei Monti Sibillini (Pink Apple of the Sibillini Mountains): recognised as a Slow Food Presidium, its cultivation risked being abandoned but has fortunately been resumed and now tells the ancient history of these lands with the typical flavour and fragrance of this fruit.
