Overview
An ancient Malatesta dominion, Gemmano is a village surrounded by a breathtaking landscape: the highest point in the Conca Valley in the province of Rimini, it offers enchanting views and glimpses. Its territory is also home to a fascinating natural element: the Onferno Caves, protected within the nature reserve of the same name. The Onferno Caves are the only natural caves in the Rimini area and can be visited, an opportunity to admire its geological structure and its fauna, some 6,000 bats inhabiting the darkness of its caverns.
