Overview
The church is the result of extensions, made at various times, of earlier 16th-century structures. The bell tower was erected in the 18th century, while the copper spire was added in 1903. The portico in front of the church dates back to 1626 and is punctuated by 14 small aedicules with frescoes of the Via Crucis, an eighteenth-century work by the local painter Franz Curta. The small Parish Museum houses a seated Madonna of the 15th century and a Crucifix of the early 13th century, of evident French culture.
