Overview
Norcia is located in the centre of the Monti Sibillini National Park, surrounded by mountains that reach 2,000 metres in altitude, an ideal destination for hikers and skiers. Between the mountains, large flat expanses stretch out, fertile and generous lands where vegetables of great quality are produced and animals are bred, from which some of the area's most characteristic products, such as pork products, are obtained.
Rich in karst caves and gorges, paths among verdant heights, and watercourses perfect for rafting and canyoning, Norcia is an area that from here, from its uncontaminated nature, restarts after the tremendous earthquake that still has serious consequences on the historic centre. But Norcia is not stopping: with all its strength and determination, it is ready to start again, and to host those who continue to love and support it.
